Landing Gear Assembly
There was some discussion on the TurboCAD forum about how nice it would be to have the ability to create 3D PDF files straight out of TurboCAD. There was also a link to the Demo Center of Right Hemisphere, in particular a link to Mark Schafer’s Catia landing gear assembly model that was authored within Deep Exploration, a product Right Hemisphere. I was very impressed with the model and the 3D PDF itself, which allowed each part to be viewed separately and which allowed measurements to be captured. With such a fine model and measurements at the ready I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to recreate the model in TurboCAD.
